Further to the comment below made by Tara, its a shame she felt that way. I went to Kavos with my boyfriend (us to travelling as a young couple) we stopped at the morfeas and enjoyed every minute!! we met a young couple the same age as us who feel exactly the same and found the holiday just as amazing!!
The hotel is basic but is extremely clean and the food is fantastic, the pool is gorguoes and there is always music playing and a bar open.
We found our rep Charlie extremely helpfull she is a fantastic rep with a great personality (just wat Kavos needs)
Kavos is well known for its alchohol subsitute Ethanol that is sold in a few bars down the strip.
This is to be avoided however is highlighted in the welcome meeting by your rep and there are many posters around the hotel displaying warnings of this. Jason the Barman in the hotel is extremely key'd up on all this and will recommened places to go and not to go down the strip. We went on two Bar crawls with Charlie our rep and she also knew where to avoid and only took us to the good places. The effects of drinking ethanol is an extremely bad hang over and possibly a bad stomach but if you listen to the advise from your reps and keep an eye out for the warnings you should be fine... It is also illegal for the PRs to tell you they do not sell Ethanol if they do so wen they try and promote free drinks outside the bars ask them straight out, we did!! and they have to be honest with you!
I suppose everyone has differant standards and expectations of wat a holiday should be like but i gaurentee if you go here you will not be dissapointed.. go.. find out for yourselves!! i wouldnt be going again on the 11 June (1 weeks time) if i didnt find it so fantastic!!!
I Recommed it to anyone who is a party animal loves chillin in the day wants great food, great surroundings and great people around them! Dont listen to negative comments because you will regret never visiting its an amazing place

MY BOYFRIEND AND I WENT TO THIS HOTEL LAST YEAR FOR THE LAST WEEK OF JULY AND FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST. MY ADVICE TO ANY COUPLES THAT HAVE BOOKED TO GO TO THIS HOTEL IS DONT! IT WAS AWFUL! IT WAS OUR FIRST HOLIDAY ABROAD TOGETHER AND WE HATED IT. THERE WERE LOADS OF SINGLES THERE AND THERE WERE LOADS OF PARTIES EVERY NIGHT...WHICH WE DIDNT MIND AT ALL AS WE ARE A YOUNG FUN LOVING COUPLE BUT THERE WERE FIGHTS AND GLASS LEFT ALL OVER THE BALCONIES IN THE MORNING BECAUSE THEY USED TO SMASH THE GLASSES AGAINST THE WALL. WHEN WE COMPLAINED THERE WAS NOTHING DONE ABOUT IT AND WE HAD TO SPEND EACH NIGHT FOR THE 2 WEEKS MOSTLY WITHOUT ANY SLEEP AT ALL AS IT JUST GOT WORSE! IN THE END WE HAD TO RESULT TO GOING OUT TO THE BALCONY AND APPROACHING THE PEOPLE OURSELVES WHICH BECAME A REGULAR OCCURANCE AND ON ONE OR TWO OCCASIONS TURNED IN TO AN ARGUEMENT EVEN THOUGH WE LEFT IT UNTIL ABOUT 5 IN THE MORNING TO SPEAK TO THEM! THE BATH ROOMS WERE HORRIBLE AND THE SHOWERS WOULD OVER FLOW...IT WAS AWFUL AND I SPENT MOST OF THE HOLIDAY JUST WANTING TO GO HOME - TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY...CHARLIE THE HOTEL REP WAS RUBBISH AND SPENT MOST OF THE TIME TRING TO CRACK ONTO MY BOYFRIEND! SHE WAS A FAT LOAD OF GOOD WHEN WE WANTED TO COMPLAIN AS SHE SUDDENLY DID A DISAPPEARING ACT!
I REALLY HOPE THAT YOU DONT HAVE THE SAME AWFUL EXPERIENCE AS WE DID!
ALSO WATCH OUT FOR THE ALCOHOL UP ON THE STRIP IT IS BOMBER DRINK AND YOU WILL BE ILL - PURE ETHANOL SOMETHING ELSE WE WERENT TOLD ABOUT!
IM NOT EVEN GOIN TO RATE IT AS THE WORST SCORE WOULDNT BE BAD ENOUGH!

| the morfeas hotel is a family ran hotel and the staff r very friendly the bast holiday ive ever had been twice going again this year plenty to do both for young and old i would highly reckonmend the morfeas to everyone loved it and i am 48 yrs old | ||||||||||

me, my best mate n my sister stayed at the morfeas hotel late july 06. we never thought we'd find a better hotel than the one we stayed at in zante in 2005 but we did and we loved the morfeas. whole atmosphere was perfect. would recommend for young ppl only tho. staff r such a laugh-very friendly-even at 6am in the morning when we stumbed in. felt like the staff really cared about making ur holiday the best. pool is gorjess (pool bar brill). recommend pool party - gud way 2 meet n mingle wiv others at the hotel and such a giggle. rooms fine (typical greek accomadation) nice and clean tho. showers didnt flood the rooms very often which was a bonus. would def go back in a flash. the only annoying thing was the PRs outside the bars on the strip in kavos- they r so annoying!!!!!!! we usually stayed in the morfeas hotel bar until bout 12-1am coz its cheap and atmosphere brill and then moved on down the strip. recommend rollin stones (for indie music) and heaven (on the beach) for watching the sunrise over the sea while lying on a bean bag. | ||||||||||
