Roda is a very basic village, nothing special to be honest. The Bar/Pub entertainment is laughable. Robbie Williams, Rod Stewart etc are a joke. Time to sack the crap and put some effort into bringing Greece back to life guys!!

My first time on Corfu this year. We stayed at the Pegasus Hotel in Roda - fantastic! Roda was a lovely, friendly resort with plenty of great tavernas and restaurants. Our favourites include: Oscars, Smileys, Crusoes, Pirates, Estrella, Aphrodite Ballroom and 'the kind hearted place' . A fantastic holiday.

Returned yesterday from Roda having stayed at the Elizabeth apts which we would highly recommend. The resort was bustling although some of the tavernas and hotels were closed. The locals were so friendly and welcoming. Roda is a lovely resort for young families. Our two children aged 7 and 5 loved the Go Karts and also the bouncy castle/ soft play area at Nemo's. The latter is free if you are having a drink at Nemo's...try a frappe, they are delicious. Totally disagree with the other comment that Roda is dead.We drove through Sidari and kept driving! If you want a resort that has a strong English flavour and has been robbed of its "Greekness" then go to Sidari. If you would like a friendly, authentic Greek holiday then go to Roda.

| Hi Just returned from Roda enjoyed the holiday as usual the people are so friendly felt sorry for them as everywhere was really quiet .Hotels and restaurants closing down all over. Once again the best place to eat was Maggie's tried other places but kept going back, but even a place as popular as that has been affected she no longer opens for breakfast and it was so well known for it. Hope people carry on going and supporting the locals. Pat ,Kev,Sue& Steve | |

Just back after two weeks of sun, sand, food, drink and the rest!!!! Great place highly recommend it. Stayed at the Silver Beach which was really nice. Staff were great especially our cleaner.
The Roda Crown is definately the bar to go to. Christine and Albie gave us the biggest welcome in the whole of Roda and looked after us. Whatever you drink they will get it in. Try the Rosie and Albies French Kiss!!!
Loads of restaurants and pubs to go to. All the meals were great and really cheap. Never ate in the same place twice either!!! Breakfast at Pirates is a must!!! The best by far. It sets you up for the day and the staff are really friendly.
Don't do the trips with the reps as they were a not worth the money
Speak to Albie and Chris they will point you in the right direction.Apart from that we had a ball. Its not in your face like some resorts it has enough of everything. Beach is lovely and clean. Will be back in the future. ![]()
