We stayed at these apartments from 17th Sept 08 for a week , nice complex but a bit in the middle of nowhere so if you're no good at walking, this place isn't for you, however taxi to centre of Kos cost 7 euros so not too bad.
Very friendly complex we met some really nice people there and run by Nikkos and his family with two of the hugest dogs you've ever seen running around the place but as I'm a dog lover this didn't bother me at all.
All in all we had an enjoyable week there made more pleasant by the lovely people who were also staying there.

| .We went on holiday here from the 9th August 2008 -16th August 2008. The weather was great , the staff which was run by Nikos and his family were very helpful and friendly,As you would expect from a basic holiday it was cheap and cheerful!!. You get what you pay for.The room was cleaned every day that we were there. If you get the chance to go i would recommend that you went on the Greek Night!!We also went on the island tour-did local wine tasting!! -How ever the rep that we had was not very good or very friendly ,the only time she spoke to us was when she wanted us to go on there charity night.(something in it for her)I would go there again as long as they could change the tour company (Olympic)not the most helpful of tour companys .However we did make some lovely friends who we will keep in touch with. | |

| Appts were basic but cleaned daily ,bedding and towels changed every other day.Stayed 3rd to 17th sept.no sight of any rats and only saw one cockroach on the driveway.Info given by brochure as to location and distance to beach ,shop and town very misleading, but local taxis good value and you could always hire a bike. Owner Nikos pleasant enough but could be more helpful. Food good and reasonably priced.Wont be returning due to location,. | ||||||||||

My boyfriend and i are just back from two weeks at oasis. Our room was cleaned at least 8 times in 14 days, so no complaints there! the apartments are very basic, as we expected. (you get what you pay for eh!) Quite a walk away from everything but for 6euro a taxi will take you right into the middle of town. Owner Nikos and his family are lovely, the bike hire man is a cracker, and our rep, Ben, was really helpful. Kos is gorgeous and there is plenty to do. There's the usual pubbing and clubbing on the harbour, but if you work your way back a few streets into the old town, you'll find cheaper and quieter taveras to eat in. Oasis was a good place to touch base on our holiday, the bar is fine if you don't fancy venturing out and there's a mini market for essentials (cheaper in town though, as Nikos will tell you!) Pool very clean and plenty of sunloungers. basketball area and kids playground, didnt use either, but they are there! Nice enough for a basic place to sleep. Only noise is a cockerel and the other folk staying there.

Accomodation
Four of us stayed in the Oasis Apartments in Marmaroto (Nr Kos Town) when we went to Kos (11-25 June 2005). The Apartments are basic, but that is what you expect in Greece! They were cleaned every other day and our maid was a lovely women, she always had a smile for us! The location is the only thing that lets this acommodation down in my opinion! Our brouchure said that it was a five minute walk to the closest shops and bars (this is not true) we hired bikes from George (another really nice person) at 15 euros per week, and biked to shops etc....The closest Supermarket is about 15-20 minutes away, and the beach is about 10-15 minutes (both by bike). The closest village (I think its called Platini) is about 25-30 minute walk away. Kos is a good 50 minutes away if you walk, so we didn't as a taxi was only 6 euros!! Nikos and his Family are great!! Really friendly, and the food on site (cooked by Nikos's Brother) is really good! I recomend the Stifado, its cheap too....the shop is slightly more expensive than the supermarket but if you don't like lugging shopping back in that heat it is well worth the few cents extra! The pool is cold, but just what you need after a hard day sitting on the sunbeds, and it was always clean!
The Rep
The Rep that we had (Ben Pope) was the BEST rep I have ever had on any holiday I have ever been on. He is very well informed, Funny and Easy to get on with....If you have any questions or problems he will do his best to help you...His hours of work are shown in the bar area, but when we were there he worked over and above anything that was printed, we saw him every day and he always made a point of saying hello and asking if we were O.K...........He was GREAT!!!!
Excersions
The Trips are well worth the money too!! We went to Nisyros (once in a lifetime thing, as you get to walk across a volcano!) it was great and our tour Guide (I think his name was Kostas) was brilliant!! We also went to Turkey (with a lovely couple as our guide, they really know what they're talking about!)....You are taken to Bodrum for a few hours shopping and then you go to an all you can eat buffet dinner, the food & place is excellent, there is also some entertainment whilst you are eating.
Entertainment
There isn't much in the way of entertainment....apart from on a Friday Night when there is a Race night done by a few English people who have recently moved to Kos, it is well worth staying to join in and there is the chance that you may win!! You can bet anything from 1 euro upwards so its a really cheap, fun night!!
Overall
We really enjoyed are stay......It is a quite holiday, and it is a shame that there is no night life a bit closer but the people who work at Oasis (inlc our Rep, Ben) really made it all the more enjoyable! Thanx Guys!

| Exactly what my girlfriend and i was expecting to be honest. 1)Location, 3km from Dolphin Sq (Happening centre of Kos Town) as per the brochure, the brochure does not lie! so we were ready for that! 2)Quietness, Being 3km from the centre and set off a back road, the only noise you contend with it the Goats and a Donkey up the road on a farm!, perfect for relaxing! 3) Cleanliness, Our room was cleaned 3 times in Six full days, any arguements??? Rep Sean Farrell was cool, good local knowledge and good when under pressure to deliver, no problem. ( Likes to talk about his weight! ) Owner Nikos is quiet a character, typical Greek man, top bloke... Only problem we had was the amount of Dutch people staying there, it was like Ansterdam and Rotterdam moved to Kos for the Summer! Give it a try, £300 pw in the height of season is not bad at all! | ||||||||||

| The accommodation is small and basic the hotel is run by owners and they werent nice at all!The hotel is miles away from anything, food is ok and not expensive. These would be great if they were in the town and the owners were nice, cant believe how rude they were!In my 2 week stay are room got cleaned about 3 times. While i was there rats were in rooms and a family had to be moved because of them.I saw a number of rats. The rep was a complete waste of time! The staff and rep totally ruined my holiday.Good Luck if u go to these apartments. I was there 23/7/2003 - 7/8/2003 | ||||||||||
