| Certainly one of the best restaurants in Tigaki. A bit more expensive than most, but well worth it for the excellent service & food. We ate there on our last night & wish we had found it earlier. David on the door is great, very friendly and a lovely person. He is not greek, he's italian and speaks perfect English. | ||||||||||

Thimanakis Studios : (Apartments in Tingaki)

| Just come back from a week in Tigaki. These apartments were basic & clean situated on the crossroads at the top of the main Tigaki road. Although there was quite a bit of traffic, it didn't disturb us. The lady who owned the property was our best friend because my friend could speak greek to her. | ||||||||||

Marmari : (Beaches on Kos)

| Very clean beautiful sandy beach, they obviously take a lot of care in the mornings before the sun worshippers arrive. They rake it all down and place little bins and tables out for all. It was very windy when we were there and they had big wind breakers behind us and comfortable beds. Gets my vote. | |||||||||||||

| Service bad, two waitresses who couldn't be at all bothered. They even took other customers who came in after us before us. Food was bland. Regret going there as there are so many lovely restaurants. | ||||||||||

| I will never ever ever go with First Choice again. Where do I begin? We paid for a meal on the plane and never got it. We had awful seats on the plane (cramed in like sardines) and the crew had an attitude problem. When we arrived at Kos we had no transfer. (Which we had also paid for. Our accomodation was fine because it was an Olympic property. | ||||||||||||||||

| To Billy D. contact your insurance who should give you a number for ATOL or ABTA. The CAA are rescuing everyone who is stranded abroad due to the bunch of ***** who call themselves Golden Sun. Sorry about your situation, We have just 'lost' our holiday due to fly out on Wed 29/9/04. | ||||||||||||||||

| Loved it. Food & service great went back a second time. Also, they had fresh vegatables instead of the normal frozen rice peas & corn. | ||||||||||

| We loved it, food was great. service was great. staff were were lovely. We had my 5 yr old grandson with us and the staff were playing about & joking with him. After the meal, children are invited to have an ice cream on the house and adults a coffee. We went back and ate there our last night too. | ||||||||||

Kefalos : (Resorts on Kos)

| We have just returned from Kefalos in Kos with my two daughters & 5 year old grandson. Kefalos is a nice quiet peaceful resort with plenty of restaurants & bars. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday there is just enough to choose from without being overwhelmed. The two I can recommend are 'Sebastians' & 'Maria's' both on the front. I prefer beaches to pools, I didn't think much of the Kefalos beach as it was very shingly & stony. However, it was very clean & the water was beautiful. The pool we used was the 'Mayflower' complex. (Set back off the road)Which was very frindly & clean. Dimetre in the pool bar was very friendly and the food was good too. There were not many shops in Kefalos, but enough to buy a few small souveniers & momentos. There is a nice jewellers called Traditional, in which I treated myself to a small gift.:) I liked it so much I am going back at the end of September with a friend this time. We will also stay in the same apartments. | ||||||||||||||||

| I must admit in past years we have had a dreadful service from Golden Sun and I swore I would never travel with them again. However, when we were booking this holiday to Kos, we didn't realise it was Golden Sun until i was about to pay. So then thought 'oh well, we'll try again and give them the benefit of the doubt'. A lot of the problems were due to the attitudes of the reps and when reporting problems in the accomodation we were met with hostility or the reps could never be found.Then when writing to Golen Sun, met with the same attitude. This time everything was fine, the reps name was Stella and i can't fault her at all. She was very helpful and informative at the welcome meeting. (& the security boxes in the office were free, which was a plus. We had my 5yr old grandson with us so we needed to keep the room on for half a day. Stella saw to that too. | ||||||||||||||||

Exotic Studios : (Apartments in Kefalos)

| I have just come back from a week in Exotic Studios in Kefalos with my family. The studios were basic,very clean, in a quiet location (exept for the chickens & ducks, which didn't bother us at all) The family that own the property live in a house directly next door and are around most of the time, so the security is good. Kefalos is a faily quiet resort, but there are plenty of restaurants, bars & pools to choose from. One particular Pool I recommend is the 'Mayflower Peros' and two restaurants that are a must are Sebastians and Maria's (both on the front). I personally didn't think much of the beach, It was sand,shingles & pebbles. However the water was beautiful and the beach was clean. Take extra loo rolls as they are in short supply. I am going back to Kefalos at the end of September with a friend and we are staying in the Exotic again. | ||||||||||
