Hi Michelle, I'm really sorry the two weeks i was there the hotel was fully booked, so Nick could not show me any of the rooms. I'm sure if you email the hotel direct requesting a photo they should be able to forward one to you.
Also I know First Choice have taken some publicity photo's for next year, so it maybe worth checking both FC and Thomas Cook brochures.
Sorry I was unable to help

Michelle,
I think we paid €15 for the safety depost box for our weeks stay.

Michelle,
We didn't need it this year (mid June), but if memory serves me right, it was €7 per night the previous year when it was definitely a must (mid July). You don't have to commit to having it for the full week, so can pick and choose your days if you wish.

Hi Michelle, I'm guessing you mean the rooms for couples or as the brochure say 2-3 people, being the one you have stayed in before. I will speak to Nikos and try to get some foto's for you when i go out in September.

Hi Michelle,
Sorry, I can't be of much help, as we've only stayed in studios ourselves. I've spoken with people in the past who have and they have been pretty impressed, but that's the extent of my knowledge I'm afraid.
Hope the wedding goes well!!

We stayed at the Alykanas Beach a few years ago and had a fantastic time, sooooooo relaxing.
Since the collapse of Kosmar we as was everyone else wondering which tour operator would take this hotel on their books. I am pleased to say we have booked for next year 2010 and cant wait!!!
We are so looking forward to visiting Zante next year, just hope the euro will be a better exchange rate!!
See you all then

Just returned from another week here and I have to say the new management were pretty good. There are a couple of changes though. We had kettles and a toaster in our room, so I am supposing they are supplied FOC as standard. (no more waiting 15 minutes for a cup of tea!)
There is a new seating area (to the right of the bar as you look at it from the beach) with sofas and arm chairs and an extended grassed area over that side as well with tables, chairs and umbrellas.
Hire of sunbeds on the beach is now €5 per day rather than €7 as in previous years.
Weather needless to say was great.

So glad I looked on this website, we have had some wonderful holidays at Alykanas Beach aparthotel, and have been trying to find out if anyone has taken it over. Thank goodness they have. Its wonderful accommodation, lovely setting and amazing staff. Now I can look forward to booking for next year. Thanks
