The best restaurant on the island! We love this place. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for! Me and my mate stayed here for 6hours one night just drinking wine after our meal and watching the sunset. The waiters were so good to us, they even brought us free fruit salad after 4 hours, to stop us getting too drunk! Absolutely wonderful! | ||||||||||

Blue Caves and Ship Wreck by boat : (Excursions on Zante)

This trip was good for the swimming, but other than that it got a bit boring as it takes so long, which we were expecting, but still it was boring! The water at the shipwreck is freezing, but so nice once you get in - you just have to go for it! We didn't see any turtles, but later we went out on a pedalo on Laganas beach and we saw loads, and you don't have to go out very far! So if you don't see any, don't despair there are other ways! Lol! | ||||||||||

Laganas Beach : (Beaches on Zante)

The sea is lovely, especially around 5pm - the water is really warm then! Not keen on the fact that the beach is used as a road overnight. It makes the sand really crap. I believe they don't do this all year round, but we went early June and it was really annoying! | |||||||||||||

Artemis Rock Club : (Bars/clubs in Laganas)

The only rock club in Laganas and it's Class!! The first time we went here they opened up for us! Then they let us bring our own music to be played! Told us it was cheaper to buy cocktails than just Vodka and lemonade, when they could have made a mint! And on top of all that they played the muppets song!
All the staff here are great, and we couldn't stay away! The place is a little quiet early on, but if you wanna escape all the dance music everywhere else, this is the place to be!

Evegenia Apartments : (Apartments in Laganas)

Me and my mate stayed here 11th - 25th June '06. Mostly it was good! Just in case anyone needs to know, safety deposit boxes were available and cost €30 for 2 weeks, so €15 for 1 week and fans were available for hire from the shop next door. On the whole these apartments were nice. They were fairly clean and the maid came in every day, but it's true that theiving is a regular occurence here. My friend had some clothes and beauty products nicked, and some people we met also had things stolen. It was the same maid who nicked it all, so if you are staying on the side of the apartments nearest the bar and seating area, keep you stuff locked up. She also has a tendancy to use guests items for cleaning, ie. face cloths and towels.
The only bad experience we really had here was being told where we could and could not sit in the outside seating area, by some guy who I guess owns the place, who wanted the best seats for his family to lunch! We were a little p****d off, but we soon got over it and told him where he could go!
As for Lee the Rep, he's about as much use as a chocolate fireguard! He cut the welcome meeting short, only told us about the bar crawl, and we didn't see him more than 3 times the whole 2 weeks we were there. He didn't even have the decency to let us know what time our coach was coming to pick us up on the way home!
The bar at this place has only 1 CD which they play over and over, so it might be an idea to take your own! It does your head in after a while, and I suggest ear plugs! As they start it at 9am and don't bother about the volume!
Food isn't much to talk about here, but is okay if you just want a snack and drinks are priced at around average for Laganas. Hope anyone who stays here enjoys it. It is a nice place and close to everything, just watch out for the maid! | ||||||||||
